How period underwear works
Period underwear has several built in layers: a soft layer against the skin, an absorbent core that holds the flow, and a leak resistant barrier underneath. It looks and feels like ordinary underwear and is washed and worn again, cycle after cycle.
Choosing your absorbency
Gaia suits medium flow days. Callie is designed for heavy flow. Anthéia and the Glow boxer are made for very heavy days and nights. Choose your usual French size: 38 (M), 40 (L) or 42 (XL).
How long to wear it
It depends on your flow. Change it as you would a pad or tampon, more often on heavier days. Many women wear it alone on lighter days and as a backup with a tampon on heavier ones.
Care
Rinse in cold water after each use until the water runs clear, then wash as instructed on the label. Avoid fabric softener, which reduces absorbency, and let it dry naturally.
Who it suits
Period underwear is a comfortable option for the first cycles, for nights, for sport, and for anyone who wants fewer single use products. See the Réjeanne brand page.
